Access Line powered by MDA Overview

This service provides a one-package solution that connects the fiber-optic network of MDA (Marunouchi Direct Access), which covers approximately 70% of office buildings in the Tokyo Station area (Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho districts), to the OCX Physical Port at Site: MDA Otemachi Data Center (JP-East-0007).

By using this service, you can easily and affordably achieve multi-cloud connectivity via Cloud Connection, or internet connectivity via Internet Connection or Internet Gateway, from supported office buildings. Additionally, it liberates you from the complex designs and lengthy processes—from ordering to activation—that were previously essential for constructing large-scale corporate networks. It enables centralized management of network infrastructure and the realization of a secure, low-latency, and scalable communication environment.

Procedure for Checking Application and Usage Status

1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
2. Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
3. When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, select Access Line powered by MDA.
4. A list of Access Line powered by MDA resources will be displayed, including those currently being applied for, contracts established, currently in use, or scheduled for cancellation.

The following information is displayed for each Access Line powered by MDA:

• ID
  • The contract resource ID.
• Name
  • The name of the resource specified at the time of application for this plan.
• Access Line
  • Displays which access line is being used.
• Location
  • The site where the Access Line powered by MDA is used. For Access Line powered by MDA, JP-East-0007 / MDA Otemachi Data Center is automatically designated.
• Physical Port ID
  • The ID of the Physical Port used by the corresponding Access Line powered by MDA.
