VC Overview
A Virtual Circuit (VC) functions as a single, extensive broadcast domain. It interconnects Layer 2 logical circuits, including VCI, Cloud Connection, Router Connection, Internet Connection, Internet Gateway, Tunnel Gateway, XaaS Connection, VMG Instance, SmartVPN Interface, and OPTAGE Connection Interface. By attaching or detaching OCX resources to a VC, you can flexibly design networks to meet specific technical requirements.
About Areas
- When creating a VC, you must select an Area to control which resources can be attached.
- If you select multiple areas, inter-area communication becomes possible for a fee. For pricing details, please refer to this page.
