VC Overview

A Virtual Circuit (VC) functions as a single, extensive broadcast domain. It interconnects Layer 2 logical circuits, including VCI, Cloud Connection, Router Connection, Internet Connection, Internet Gateway, Tunnel Gateway, XaaS Connection, VMG Instance, and SmartVPN Interface. By attaching or detaching OCX resources to a VC, you can flexibly design networks to meet specific technical requirements.

About Areas

  • When creating a VC, you must select an Area to control which resources can be attached.
  • If you select multiple areas, inter-area communication becomes possible for a fee. For pricing details, please refer to this page.
  • If you select only one area, the service is free of charge.
