Decommissioning (Deletion) of Internet Connection Resources

This page explains how to decommission (delete) an Internet Connection resource using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) an Internet Connection resource:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. All Additional Prefixes associated with the Internet Connection resource to be deleted have already been removed.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deletion) of Internet Connection Resources

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Internet Connections] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Once the [Internet Connections] page appears, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to decommission (delete).

  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.

    • To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  5. Confirm that the corresponding Internet Connection resource has been removed from the list.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Internet Connection resource.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Internet Connection resources cannot be restored.
