Creating a Static Route
This page explains how to use the Create Static Route function on the OCX Portal.
Static Routes allow you to manually specify connection paths by defining the destination for an Interface.
Remarks
- As of November 2022, Static Routes only support the IPv4 address family.
Preparation
Please confirm the following before creating a Static Route:
- Your User Role is either
adminoruser. - The status of the target Interface for the Static Route is
activated. - Prepare the following information according to your network requirements:
- The IP address to serve as the Next-Hop for the Static Route.
Procedure for Creating a Static Route

Log in to the OCX Portal.

Click [OCX-Router(v1)] from the left navigation bar.

On the OCX-Router(v1) page, click the specific Interface within the relevant OCX-Router(v1) resource.

The details panel will appear at the bottom. Switch to the [Static Routes] tab and click the [Create Static Route] button.

The screen will switch to the Static Route creation steps. Configure the items as follows and click [Create].
- Prefix
- Enter the network IP address you wish to add in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format (e.g., 192.168.0.0/24).
- Note: Ensure the IP address is entered as a network address.
- Next-Hop
- Enter the IP address of the relay point (Next-Hop) for the destination network (e.g., 192.168.0.254).
- Note: You cannot set a network address, broadcast address, or an address that resides outside the range of your own Interface.
- Prefix

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Review the settings and click [Create].

The created Static Route will appear in the Static Routes list at the bottom of the screen.
This completes the creation of the Static Route.
