This page explains how to decommission (delete) an Internet Gateway resource using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) an Internet Gateway resource:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The Internet Gateway resource to be deleted must be detached from any Virtual Circuit (VC), and its status must be available.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deletion) of Internet Gateway Resources

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Internet Gateways] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Once the [Internet Gateways] page appears, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to decommission (delete).

  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.

    • To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
    • Note: All NAT IP addresses, Static Routes, and BGP Parameters associated with the Internet Gateway resource being deleted will also be removed.
  5. Confirm that the corresponding Internet Gateway resource has been removed from the list.

    • If the resource status is deleting, the deletion process is in progress. It may take some time to complete; please wait.
    • You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the upper right corner.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Internet Gateway resource.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Internet Gateway resources cannot be restored.
