Additional Prefix Pricing Structure

Usage fees are incurred when an additional prefix is added using the OCX Portal.
This page explains how the usage fees for additional prefixes are triggered and how to confirm them.

Additional Prefix Fees and Start of Billing​

There are Initial Fees, which are billed only once after your OCX application, and Monthly Fees, which are billed every month.

Initial Fees​

This is a one-time charge incurred after the creation (purchase) of an additional prefix.
The billing and payment will occur in the month following the month that includes the billing start date.

Monthly Fees​

The billing start date is the date on which our company accepts the creation (purchase) of the additional prefix.
The billing amount for the first month is calculated on a pro-rata basis from the start date until the end of that month.
Pro-rata calculations are performed based on the actual number of days in the calendar month of the billing start date.

  • All time references are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
  • The amounts listed above do not include tax.
  • The listed amounts apply to customers who have entered into a contract with BBIX, Inc..

Termination of Billing for Additional Prefix​

The billing end date for the additional prefix usage fee is the date on which the decommissioning of the additional prefix is completed (the point at which the resource disappears from the list on the portal).
If an additional prefix is decommissioned in the middle of a month, the monthly fee for the month containing the billing end date will be calculated pro-rata based on the number of calendar days.

Steps to Verify Additional Prefix Usage Charges​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. To check billing amounts, click [Settings] > [Billing Information] from the left navigation bar.
  3. A list of bills will be displayed. Click on the billing year/month you wish to check in detail.
  4. A list of used resources for that month will be displayed. Check the line items where the resource type is Additional IP Address.

Note: The billing amounts listed on the OCX Portal are estimates. Please refer to your official invoice for the final billing amount.
