Releasing Multihoming

This page explains how to Release Multihoming using the OCX Portal.

Preparation​

Please confirm the following before you Release Multihoming:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of all LAG Ports included in the Multihoming configuration to be released is available.

Steps for Release Multihoming​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [LAG Ports] from the left navigation bar.
  3. Once the LAG Ports list page is displayed, click the Release icon in the Actions column for either LAG Port included in the Multihoming configuration that you want to Release.
  4. A [Release Multihoming] pop-up will appear. Select the checkboxes for all LAG Ports included in the Multihoming configuration, then click [Release Multihoming].
    • To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  5. Confirm that the corresponding Multihoming configuration has been released from the list.

Notes​

  • Released Multihoming configurations cannot be restored.
  • Before you Release Multihoming, confirm that VCIs have been decommissioned (deleted) on all LAG Ports included in the Multihoming configuration, or that no VCIs with the same VLAN ID exist across the LAG Ports.
  • When deleting a VLAN, first delete the VLAN from the customer device, then delete the VCI in the OCX Portal.
