Decommissioning (Deletion) of an Interface

This page explains how to decommission (delete) an Interface using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) an Interface:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The Interface to be deleted has been detached from any Virtual Circuit (VC) and is in the available status.
  3. All configurations associated with the target Interface, such as BGP Parameters and Static Routes, have been completely deleted.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) an Interface

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [OCX-Router(v1)] from the left navigation bar.

  3. On the [OCX-Router(v1)] page, click the specific Interface you wish to delete.

  4. The details panel will appear at the bottom. Click the [Delete] button located on the right side of the details panel.

  5. A deletion confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the Interface ID and click the [Delete] button.
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

  6. Confirm that the relevant Interface has been removed from the list.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Interface.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Interfaces cannot be restored.
