Creating a Static Route

This page explains how to use the Create Static Route function on the OCX Portal.
Static Routes allow you to manually specify the connection path (destination) for a Tunnel Gateway by defining individual routing rules.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before creating a Static Route:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of the target Tunnel Gateway is either available or attached.

Procedure for Creating a Static Route

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Tunnel Gateways] from the left navigation bar.
  3. On the Tunnel Gateways page, click the relevant Tunnel Gateway resource.
  4. The details screen will appear at the bottom of the page. Switch to the [Static Routes] tab and click the [Create Static Route] button.
  5. You will proceed to the Static Route configuration step. Set the following input items and click [Create].
    • Prefix
      • Enter the IP address of the network you wish to add in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format (e.g., 192.168.0.0/24).
      • Note: Please ensure you enter the network address.
    • Next Hop
      • Enter the IP address of the relay point (Next Hop) for the destination network (e.g., 192.168.0.254).
      • Note: You cannot set the address to a network address, a broadcast address, or an address that is outside the range of your own Tunnel Gateway.
  6. A creation confirmation pop-up will appear. Review the settings and click [Create].
  7. The Static Routes list will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, showing the Static Route you just created.

This completes the procedure for creating a Static Route.
