Updating XaaS Connection (Cisco Umbrella) Resources
This page describes the procedure for updating Cisco Umbrella resources for XaaS Connection using the OCX Portal.
Preparation
Please check the following before updating a XaaS Connection resource:
- Your User Role is either
adminoruser. - The status of the target XaaS Connection resource is either
availableorattached.
Procedure for Updating a XaaS Connection Resource

Log in to the OCX Portal.

Click [XaaS Connections] from the left navigation bar.

Once the [XaaS Connections] list page appears, click the [Edit] button for the target XaaS Connection resource.

You will proceed to the configuration update step. The following items can be modified. After entering the desired changes, click [Update].
- Name
- Enter an arbitrary name. Entering a name that is easy to identify will make management easier.
- The maximum number of characters is 40.
- Leading and trailing whitespace characters in the resource name are automatically removed.
- Speed (Bandwidth)
- Select an arbitrary value from 2 or 3 Gbps.
- 2 Gbps and 3 Gbps connections cannot be changed to 1 Gbps.
- This cannot be changed if "Osaka" was selected as the NAT location at the time of creation.
- Select an arbitrary value from 2 or 3 Gbps.
- IPv4 Gateway Address
- Enter the IPv4 address to be used as the gateway for the XaaS connection in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format. (Example: 192.168.0.1/24)
- If BGP Parameters are configured, the IPv4 Gateway Address cannot be changed.
- Local ASN
- Enter the AS number to operate on the XaaS Connection. 4-byte ASNs are supported. It operates as eBGP.
- Name

An update confirmation popup will appear. If the content is correct, click [Update].
- To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

The details screen will be displayed. Please confirm that the changes have been reflected.
- If the resource status is updating, the update process is in progress. Once the update process completes successfully, available or attached will be displayed.
- You can refresh the status by clicking [Refresh] at the top right.
This completes the update of the XaaS Connection resource.
