Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway
This page explains how to decommission (delete) a Virtual Mobile Gateway resource using the OCX Portal.
Preparation
Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway resource:
- Your User Role is either
adminoruser. - The status of the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted is
activated. - The Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted has been detached from the VC, and the interface status of each instance is
detached. - All Address Pools linked to the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted have been removed.
Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway
- Log in to the OCX Portal.
- Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
- When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, click [Virtual Mobile Gateways (VMGs)].
- Once the Virtual Mobile Gateways page is displayed, click the
Delete iconin the Actions column on the right side of the resource you wish to decommission (delete). - A deletion confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.
*Please review the precautions if you are deleting a VMG Dedicated Data Pack.
*To cancel the operation, click [Cancel]. - Confirm that the relevant Virtual Mobile Gateway resource has been removed from the list.
*If the resource status is deleting, the deletion process is underway. It may take some time to complete, so please wait a moment.
*You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the upper right corner.
This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource.
Notes
- Decommissioned (deleted) Virtual Mobile Gateway resources cannot be restored.
