Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway

This page explains how to decommission (delete) a Virtual Mobile Gateway resource using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway resource:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted is activated.
  3. The Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted has been detached from the VC, and the interface status of each instance is detached.
  4. All Address Pools linked to the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource to be deleted have been removed.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a Virtual Mobile Gateway

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
  3. When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, click [Virtual Mobile Gateways (VMGs)].
  4. Once the Virtual Mobile Gateways page is displayed, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the resource you wish to decommission (delete).
  5. A deletion confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  6. Confirm that the relevant Virtual Mobile Gateway resource has been removed from the list.
    If the resource status is deleting, the deletion process is underway. It may take some time to complete, so please wait a moment. You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the upper right corner.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Virtual Mobile Gateway resource.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Virtual Mobile Gateway resources cannot be restored.
