Decommissioning (Deletion) of a Physical Port

This page explains how to decommission (delete) a Physical Port using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) a Physical Port:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. All VCIs associated with the target Physical Port have been completely decommissioned (deleted).

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) a Physical Port

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Physical Ports] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Once the Physical Ports list page is displayed, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to decommission (delete).

  4. A [Confirm Deletion] pop-up will appear. Enter the Name of the resource and click [Delete].
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

  5. Confirm that the relevant Physical Port has been removed from the list.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Physical Ports cannot be restored.
