Updating a Physical Port

Once you create a Physical Port, you can only change the port name; you cannot modify any other primary configurations.
This page explains the procedure for updating a Physical Port using the OCX Portal.

Preparation​

Please confirm the following before updating a Physical Port's settings:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.

Procedure for Updating a Physical Port​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Physical Ports] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Click the Edit icon in the Actions column on the right side of the relevant Physical Port.

  4. The screen will switch to the information entry screen. Update the following item and click [Update]. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

    • Name
      • Set an arbitrary name for the resource.
      • The maximum length is 40 characters.
      • Leading and trailing whitespaces are automatically removed.

  5. A [Confirm Settings Update] pop-up will appear. If the details are correct, click [Update].

  6. The Physical Ports list page will be displayed. Confirm that the changes have been reflected in the list.

This completes the update of the Physical Port.
