Physical Port Pricing Structure

Usage fees are incurred when a Physical Port is created via the OCX Portal.
This page explains when Physical Port usage fees are generated and how to verify them.

Start of Billing for Physical Ports​

The billing start date is either the 90th day from the day after the Physical Port was created (purchased) or the Activation Date (*1), whichever comes first.

*1 Activation Date: The day the link-up of the corresponding port is confirmed and the optical level check is completed, or the day the Physical Port status becomes available via the manual activation function.

Physical Port Pricing​

There is an [Initial Fee] charged only once after the application and a [Monthly Fee] billed every month.

Initial Fee​

This is a one-time charge incurred after the start of billing for the Physical Port.
It will be billed and paid in the month following the month containing the billing start date.

Monthly Fee​

The billed amount for the first month is calculated pro-rata from the billing start date until the last day of that month.
Pro-rata calculations are based on the actual number of calendar days in the month containing the billing start date.

Remarks​

  • All time references are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
  • All listed prices exclude tax.
  • The prices listed apply to customers who have entered into a contract with BBIX, Inc.

Termination of Billing for Physical Ports​

The billing end date for a Physical Port is the day the decommissioning is completed (the point at which the resource disappears from the list on the portal).
If a Physical Port is decommissioned in the middle of a month, the monthly fee for that month will be calculated pro-rata based on the calendar days of that month.

Steps to Verify Physical Port Usage Fees​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. To check the billing amount, click [Settings] > [Billing Information] from the left navigation bar.
  3. A list of bills will be displayed. Click on the billing month/year you wish to check in detail.
  4. A list of utilized resources for that month will appear. Please check the line items where the resource type is Physical Port.

Note: The billing amounts shown on the OCX Portal are estimates. Please refer to the official invoice for the final billed amount.
