Updating a Tunnel Gateway

This page explains the procedure for updating a Tunnel Gateway using the OCX Portal.

You can modify the Name, Local IPv4 Address (Master), Local IPv4 Address (Backup), and VRRP Virtual IPv4 Address configured during creation of the Tunnel Gateway.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before updating a Tunnel Gateway:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.

Procedure for Updating a Tunnel Gateway

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. Click [Tunnel Gateways] from the left navigation bar.

  3. Once the [Tunnel Gateways] page appears, click the Edit icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you wish to modify.

  4. The screen will switch to the configuration update step. The following items can be modified. After entering the changes, click [Update].

    • Name
      • Enter an arbitrary name. A name that is easy to identify will simplify management.
      • Maximum length: 40 characters.
      • Leading and trailing whitespaces are automatically removed.
    • Local IPv4 Address (Master)
      • Enter the address in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format. (e.g., 192.168.0.1/24)
    • Local IPv4 Address (Backup)
      • Enter the address in CIDR (IPv4/mask) format. (e.g., 192.168.0.2/24)
    • VRRP Virtual IPv4 Address
      • Enter the virtual IPv4 address for VRRP. (e.g., 192.168.0.254)
  5. A confirmation pop-up will appear. If the details are correct, click [Update].

  6. The details screen will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Confirm that the changes have been reflected. Note: The status will change to updating before it returns to available. It may take some time for the process to complete. Tip: Click the [Refresh] button in the upper right corner to update the status.
