Linking SIMs to an Address Pool

This page explains how to link SIMs to a Virtual Mobile Gateway Address Pool using the OCX Portal.

Preparation​

Please confirm the following before linking SIMs to an Address Pool:

  • Your User Role is either admin or user.

Procedure for Linking to an Address Pool​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
  3. When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, click [SIM Packs] under [OCX Mobile Access].
  4. Once the [SIM Packs] page is displayed, click the Link icon in the Actions column on the right side of the SIM Pack containing the SIMs you wish to link. Note: The Link icon will not be displayed for SIM Packs that have not been shipped or SIM Packs that do not contain any SIMs that are yet to be linked.
  5. Select and enter the following items, then click the [Add] button.
    • Virtual Mobile Gateway
      • Select the Virtual Mobile Gateway to which the target Address Pool belongs.
      • Displayed in the format "ID: Name".
    • Address Pool
      • Once the Virtual Mobile Gateway is selected, the Address Pool field will appear.
      • Select the Address Pool you wish to link the SIMs to.
      • Displayed in the format "ID: Name".
    • Quantity
      • Enter the number of SIMs you wish to link to the selected Address Pool.
  6. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Please review the details.
  7. If there are no issues, click the [Add] button.
  8. You will now be able to verify the IP addresses of the linked SIMs within the SIMs page.

This completes the process of linking SIMs to an Address Pool.

Notes​

  • After linking to an Address Pool, users cannot manually change the fixed IP address assigned to each individual SIM.
