Decommissioning (Deleting) Address Pool

This page explains how to decommission (delete) an Address Pool resource from a Virtual Mobile Gateway using the OCX Portal.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) an Address Pool resource:

  • Your User Role is either admin or user.
  • The status of the target Virtual Mobile Gateway is activated.
  • There are no SIMs currently belonging to the target Address Pool.

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) Address Pool

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. Click [Access Lines] from the left navigation bar.
  3. When the [Access Lines] sub-menu appears, click [Virtual Mobile Gateways (VMGs)].
  4. From the Virtual Mobile Gateways page, click the target Virtual Mobile Gateway resource.
  5. The details panel will appear at the bottom of the screen. Switch to the Address Pools tab.
  6. Once the Address Pool list is displayed, click the [Delete] button on the right side of the target Address Pool.
  7. A deletion confirmation pop-up will appear. Enter the name of the resource and click the [Delete] button.
    To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  8. Confirm that the relevant Address Pool resource has been removed from the list at the bottom of the screen.
    Note: You can update the status by clicking [Refresh] in the upper right corner.

This completes the decommissioning (deletion) of the Address Pool resource.

Notes

  • Decommissioned (deleted) Address Pool resources cannot be restored.
