Decommissioning (Deleting) an OPTAGE Connection

This page explains how to decommission (delete) an OPTAGE Connection using the OCX Portal. ※For canceling an OPTAGE Connection before activation, please refer to Pre-Activation Cancellation of OPTAGE Connection.

Preparation

Please confirm the following before decommissioning (deleting) an OPTAGE Connection:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. All OPTAGE Connection Interfaces associated with the target OPTAGE Connection have been detached.
  3. The status of the target OPTAGE Connection is available.
  4. You have contacted your OPTAGE Inc. sales representative regarding the deletion of the OPTAGE Connection (a separate procedure is required).

Procedure for Decommissioning (Deleting) an OPTAGE Connection

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.

  2. From the left navigation bar, click [OPTAGE Connection] under [Access Partner Connections].

  3. On the OPTAGE Connections list page, click the Delete icon in the Actions column on the right side of the item you want to decommission (delete).

  4. A [Confirm Deletion] pop-up will appear. Enter the resource name and click [Delete]. ※To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].

  5. Confirm that the target OPTAGE Connection has been removed from the list.

Notes

Decommissioned (deleted) OPTAGE Connection resources cannot be restored. For deletion procedures related to the OPTAGE VPN Service, please consult your OPTAGE Inc. sales representative.
