OPTAGE Connection Pricing

Creating an OPTAGE Connection through the OCX Portal incurs usage fees. This page explains the usage fees and how to check them for OPTAGE Connection.

OPTAGE Connection Billing Start​

The billing start date is the earlier of either 30 days from the date the OPTAGE Connection was created (purchased), or the activation date※1.

※1 Activation date: The date on which the manual activation of the OPTAGE Connection was performed and the status became available.

OPTAGE Connection Fees​

There are [Initial Fees] that are charged once after the subscription, and [Monthly Fees] that are charged every month.

Initial Fees​

Initial fees are charged once after the billing start of the OPTAGE Connection. They are invoiced/paid in the month following the month in which the billing start date falls.

Monthly Fees​

The monthly billing amount is the sum of prorated amounts calculated from the billing start date to the last day of that month. The proration is calculated using the number of calendar days in the month in which the billing start date falls.

  • All time references are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
  • All listed prices are exclusive of tax.
  • The listed prices are for customers who have contracted with BBIX, Inc..

OPTAGE Connection Billing End​

The billing end date for an OPTAGE Connection whose billing has started is the date on which the decommissioning of the OPTAGE Connection is completed (the point at which the resource disappears from the list on the OCX Portal). If an OPTAGE Connection is decommissioned in the middle of a month, the monthly fee for the month in which the billing end date falls is prorated using the number of calendar days.

Procedure for Checking OPTAGE Connection Usage Fees​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. To check billing amounts, click [Settings] > [Billing Information] from the left navigation bar.
  3. The billing list will be displayed. Click the billing month you want to review in detail.
  4. The resources used during that month will be listed. Check the details for items with the resource type OPTAGE Connection.

※The billing amounts displayed on the OCX Portal are estimates. Please refer to your invoice for the official billing amount.
