Manual Activation of OPTAGE Connection

This page explains the procedure for manually activating an OPTAGE Connection using the OCX Portal. By performing a manual activation, the OPTAGE Connection becomes available without waiting 30 days from the creation date.

Preparation​

Please confirm the following before manually activating an OPTAGE Connection:

  1. Your User Role is either admin or user.
  2. The status of the OPTAGE Connection is activating.
  3. The OPTAGE VPN Service activation has been completed.

Procedure for Manual Activation of OPTAGE Connection​

  1. Log in to the OCX Portal.
  2. From the left navigation bar, click [OPTAGE Connection] under [Access Partner Connections].
  3. Click the Information icon in the Actions column on the right side of the target OPTAGE Connection.
  4. On the OPTAGE Connection details screen, review the content and click [Activate] at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Review the content of the [OPTAGE Connection Manual Activation] pop-up and click [Activate]. ※To cancel the operation, click [Cancel].
  6. On the OPTAGE Connection list page, confirm that the status of the manually activated OPTAGE Connection has changed to available.

Notes​

When performing a manual activation, please perform the manual activation operation on the OCX Portal after the OPTAGE VPN Service activation has been completed. Billing begins from the date the manual activation is performed.
